Den Aitken.

With over 15 years of experience spanning landscape architecture, urban design, and spatial research, Den brings a creative and analytical lens to understanding and shaping the built environment. His work focuses on identifying and visualising spatial patterns that drive evidence-based, context-sensitive design outcomes across urban and landscape scales.

While based in Marlborough, Den leads projects nationwide and provides strategic leadership across all Urban Good initiatives. His oversight ensures design quality, innovation, and alignment with the studio’s mission to deliver socially impactful landscape and urban design outcomes.

Lloyd Atherfold

With over 20 years of experience in landscape architecture, Lloyd is a creative and pragmatic designer whose work is rooted in the delivery of complex, high-performing landscape solutions. He brings a strong understanding of technical design and stakeholder coordination, ensuring design excellence from concept through to construction.

Lloyd heads up projects across the Auckland and Waikato regions, providing regional insight and leadership on a wide range of landscape and urban design initiatives.
